History
Established in 2011, JADE began in a 2,400-square-foot showroom in The Shops at Canal Place in downtown New Orleans. With a vision for a permanent home surrounded by beautiful landscaping and the charm of mature oak trees, founder Jennifer Rabalais eventually returned to her home neighborhood of Old Metairie. The Rabalais family acquired a charming historic home that had housed two previous interior design showrooms over the course of more than fifty years, allowing JADE to continue a longstanding design legacy. In a community where history and antiques are treasured, JADE brings a fresh perspective—pairing timeless pieces with lucite, brass, clean lines, beautiful art, and comfortable upholstery. Today, JADE offers a thoughtfully curated collection of furniture, lighting, art, accessories, and gifts, along with personalized interior design services. As Metairie’s only Visual Comfort Lighting showroom, JADE features an extensive selection of decorative lighting alongside original works from local artists and distinctive pieces for every room of the home.

For Jennifer, JADE represents her lifelong appreciation for the finer things in life. Even as a child, she had the uncanny ability to recognize exquisite quality, thoughtful design, beautiful craftmanship and superior materials. And that ability, combined with her unbridled passion, defines her mantra. “Your home is your refuge from the world. It’s where you live, raise a family, observe milestones and host intimate friends. So every object in your home should have meaning. And every fabric should stir your senses. TINA LAGASSE

Tina’s favorite? Seeing it all come together, that moment when vision becomes reality. “I love helping people meld their personal style with classic elements to create a timeless design they can enjoy for years to come.” A NOLA native and LSU graduate in Interior Design, Tina’s an admirer of all design. But thanks to influencers like Victoria Hagen and Barbara Berry, her sweet spot leans toward Organic Modern – the juxtaposition of clean lines with natural textures like stone, wood and brass for an atmosphere of contemporary comfort. An expert consultant in furniture, lighting and materials, she’s also a busy wife and mother of two daughters.

Victoria Morgan
Associate Designer
Since graduating from Texas Christian University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and a concentration in Architectural Lighting Design, Victoria has worked on luxury residential projects ranging from full-home interiors to custom construction. Her background includes three years of experience at a high-end residential design firm in Dallas, where she contributed to luxury residential projects through every phase of the design process. Influenced by her New Orleans roots, Victoria is drawn to traditional design and timeless architecture, while her time in Dallas broadened her perspective and refined her approach to creating thoughtfully curated, highly personalized interiors. Proficient in AutoCAD, she enjoys both the technical and creative aspects of the design process and believes the thoughtful details are what make a home truly special. Outside of work, Victoria can often be found trying a new restaurant, browsing local antique stores, or taking walks with her Cavapoo, Hudson.
Ashton RABALAIS
Director of Marketing
Growing up surrounded by beautiful design, talented creatives, and entrepreneurial parents, Ashton Rabalais Sigl has always had a deep appreciation for both the creative and business sides of the family’s companies. A Louisiana State University graduate with a degree in Marketing and minor in Business, Ashton works across both JADE and The Plant Gallery, overseeing marketing and financial operations while helping shape the brands’ continued growth. At JADE, Ashton combines her love of design with her passion for connecting with people and sharing the work of the talented team around her. Whether she’s behind the scenes managing the numbers, developing marketing initiatives, or finding new ways to tell the JADE story, she brings energy and a strong sense of family to everything she does. Outside of work, Ashton is enjoying her newest—and favorite—role as a new mom, along with life in New Orleans with her husband, daughter, and beloved dog, Charlie.
Eryn Pray
Store Manager
Eryn has always had a love for people and a desire to help others. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelors of science in Kinesiology with the intention of becoming a Physical Therapist. A fun, temporary job as a bridal gown consultant led her to discover her passion for connecting people with beautiful pieces which are unique and meaningful to them. As the store manager at Jade, she continues to help people find beautiful items and curate personal and unique homes and spaces. Eryn has found her home at Jade, and she cannot wait to help you fill yours with intentional and alluring pieces. She loves being a wife, spending time with her friends and family, and getting lost in a good book with a latte in hand.
